Description

There are two copies of a table in database cipmsql2008-1/contacts (datasource CSREESContacts):
  • tblResponsibilityType
  • tblResponsibilityType_new

Tables are used for NIFA contacts.

I assume this was left after someone began changes and left them half-completed.

Both tables are used by different pages throughout ipmcenters.org. Table tblResponsibilityType is used in some pages in sripmc.org. Difference between the tables seems to be that tblResponsibilityType_new contains 18 "IR-4" records which are not present in tblResponsibilityType. Not sure if they were added to the new table or removed from the original.

  • Need to consolidate the tables. Current situation presents a danger of creating inconsistencies that will be difficult to reconcile later.
